Strain description

3rd Generation autoflowering strain. Sweet Seeds® has created this hybrid as a tribute to this classic and extremely loved family of cannabis. This is the resulting hybrid from the cross between our Early Skunk elite clone and an autoflowering version of Critical Mass from the Sweet Seeds® R&D Department. The resulting hybrid has been backcrossed twice with the Early Skunk elite clone.

This fast flowering autoflowering strain is one of the best yielding and most resinous varieties, producing dense buds that get totally covered by trichomes in the final stages of flowering. It features an intense skunk aroma with a very sweet background, scented with hints of spices.

What are the effects of Sweet Skunk Auto®?

In the mature flowers of Sweet Skunk Auto®, we can find a THC content that ranges between 16% and 20%, with approximately 0.4% CBD. The synergy between these cannabinoids and the delicious terpenes produced by this strain results in a somewhat cerebral yet very balanced effect that kicks in within seconds. It is deeply relaxing while also stimulating the appetite. The mild relaxation it provides helps reduce stress and daily tension.

Plant Morphology

Structure:

With 58% Indica and 38.9% Sativa genetics, and only 3.1% Ruderalis, this exceptional autoflowering strain develops plants with uniform growth, short internodal spacing, and multiple medium-length lateral branches, crowned by a visually impressive, large, and dense central bud. Plants typically reach heights of 60 cm to 90 cm, developing resin-loaded, highly aromatic buds. Thanks to its high level of homogeneity, this autoflowering strain is well-suited for the Sea of Green (S.O.G.) technique in indoor grows.

Genetic Development:

In the development of Sweet Skunk Auto®, we used a selected Critical Mass genetic line from the Sweet Seeds® R&D Department as the genetic base. To enhance the strain with a uniquely exquisite aromatic profile, we introduced an elite clone of Early Skunk. The resulting hybrid was then backcrossed twice with the Early Skunk clone, achieving a fast-flowering, highly resinous, and productive strain. It develops dense, trichome-covered buds with an intense Skunk aroma, featuring a sweet and musky background with hints of spice.

Indoor Yield:

When grown indoors under artificial lighting, with the optimal growing parameters for this strain, Sweet Skunk Auto® can produce between 400 and 500 grams of dried buds per square meter.

Outdoor Yield:

When grown outdoors with ample sunlight, with a good quality soil mix and adequate nutrition, this strain can yield between 35 and 150 grams per plant.
