Strain description

Gremlin’s Breath Feminized is a 70% indica-dominant hybrid bred from a cross of Hindu Kush and Super Gremlin. This strain was created by Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds in collaboration with the team at Champelli with the goal of creating a compact indica-like plant with a somewhat sativa-like high. The pure indica genetics of the Hindu Kush parent combine with Super Gremlin’s Zkittlez, Gelato #41, and Durban Poison lineage to create a well-balanced high.

These plants are incredibly small but still capable of high yields and a powerful high. Despite their compact stature, Gremlin’s Breath Feminized plants give off a distinctly powerful aroma which can limit this strain’s appeal to growers concerned with discretion. However, this strain’s size and versatility make it a good fit for nearly any space even if it doesn’t respond particularly well to some advanced growing techniques.

Growth pattern of Gremlin's Breath Feminized

Gremlin's Breath Feminized cannabis seeds grow into incredibly compact and robust plants thanks to the strain’s overwhelmingly indica genetics. Indoors, these plants finish flowering at heights ranging from as little as 25 cm, however, most plants will likely grow to a height closer to 80 cm.

Despite their size, these plants are still capable of producing high yields of 400-550 grams per square meter over their 60 to 65-day flowering cycle. Outdoors, expect these plants to reach a maximum height of 125 cm while producing 475-650 grams per plant.

Flowering plants are compact and sturdy with thick stems and moderate internodal spacing between the dark green fan leaves which create a thick and bushy plant. The buds themselves are round, chunky, and densely packed with a thick, frosty layer of trichomes, which make them ideal for creating extractions.

The colour is a vibrant bright green which blends with purple hues to create a striking and tropical appearance. Like the rest of the plant, these flowers are quite leafy, which, combined with their sticky resinous nature, makes them a bit difficult to trim.

Thanks to this strain’s small size, Gremlin’s Breath Feminized plants are prime candidates for a sea of green (SOG) setup. Additionally, their thick robust branches are well-suited for supercropping. However, the slow vegetative growth and shorter branches make this strain a poor choice for lollipopping, mainlining, or a screen of green (SCROG) grow.

Effects, taste, and smell of Gremlin's Breath Feminized

As Gremlin's Breath Feminized reaches maturity, the odour it gives off is nothing short of powerful. The smell is mostly fruity and tropical, with hints of berry and candy sweetness. Subtle skunky undertones round out the balanced aroma. In the final weeks of flowering the smell becomes increasingly intense and growers who value privacy may wish to look elsewhere for a more discrete option.

After curing, the buds’ aroma becomes a mouth-watering medley of mixed berries, grapes, and tropical candy, with earthy undertones and hints of pine to round things out. Likewise, the taste of Gremlin’s Breath Feminized is dominated by berry and grape flavours on the inhale which give way to a creamy, smooth finish with a touch of citrus on the back end followed by a pleasantly sweet aftertaste.

The effects of Gremlin’s Breath Feminized are more well-balanced than the genetics may imply. Things stick off with an almost immediate sense of euphoria which provides a mood-boosting, uplifting, and sociable high. Gradually, this gives way to a more classically indica body high which is quite strong. This strain is a great choice for socialising, playing some games, or enjoying a sunny day out in nature.
